To the ends of the earth.
We believe that as Christians, we are not only called to serve the community we live in, but we are also called to go. All throughout the Bible, we see God sending his people out and bringing outsiders in. We know that Jesus offers hope to a broken world. That’s why we have two mission partnerships – one in Nagoya, Japan, and one in Harmons, Jamaica.
Japan is one of the most influential, educated, and wealthy nations in the world, and yet less than 0.5% of the 125 million Japanese know Jesus. Our team of staff and students work in partnership with long-term missionary teams who are planting churches and college ministries in Nagoya, one of the major urban centers of Japan. Throughout the summer we’ll help these ministries reach young people in the area through college ministry, conversational English classes, and children’s ministry. Invest one of your college summers to equip yourself for a lifetime of growth and ministry. You’ll be stretched in your faith, in your heart for the world, and will help Japanese know Jesus in the process.
Harmons, Jamaica is a remote village located in the Mid-Southern region of the Island. We partner with Harmons through an organization called Won By One to meet physical and spiritual needs of the community. We send a team of students during both Winter and Spring Break to build and repair homes, care for the sick at a local infirmary, serve in a local school and greenhouse, and distribute clothing and medical supplies. We hear over and over again how this trip impacts our students through being the hands and feet of Jesus to the community of Harmons.
